General Tips for First-Time RVers
- Always refill your black tank with water after dumping
- Use septic-safe toilet paper designed for RVs
- Add ice cubes to the tank before driving to help loosen buildup
- Do at least one fresh water flush after dumping
- Know the height of your RV—especially for bridge clearance
- Practice backing into a site in an empty lot before your trip
- Book early—even off-peak dates can fill fast
